Quaint little corner pizzeria restaurant offering good food at reasonable prices in Astoria. Our server Jovana was both welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Disappointed that they did not have the homemade meat balls settled on the Margarita and Crudo brick oven pizzas. Both were good and I’d highly recommend. Restaurant feature both inside and out side seating (weather permitting) along with a full bar. Pizzas I had were very good available in two sizes and are reasonably priced. Overall a nice little place serving good food and offering exceptional service.

Social media stretched the truth a bit on this one. Food was average at best however the staff and ambiance made up the difference. Pasta practically still raw not even al dente and pizza was really salty. I believe it may have been an off night for the kitchen so fingers crossed next time. Macoletta is very spacious with a nice cozy vibe. Plenty indoor seating as well as sidewalk dining.

We had such a great experience at Macoletta! Everything from the food to the service was amazing, and we will definitely be back. Our server, Alexandra, was one of the best parts of the experience. She was so patient with all of our questions, really knew the menu, and gave us some great recommendations. You could tell she genuinely wanted us to have a great meal, and her friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. We started with the Burrata Canvas appetizer, and it was so much fun to share. It came with four mini calzones - Diablo, Margherita, Broccoli Rabe & Sausage, and Mushroom - with a fresh, creamy burrata in the middle. It was unique, delicious, and a great way to start the meal. The Diablo pizza was delicious (and Diablo spicy!). The combination of San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, spicy salami, nduja, Calabrian chili, and hot honey was the perfect mix of spicy, sweet, and savory. Every bite was packed with flavor. The drinks were just as good and paired perfectly with the food. This place was incredible. I've been here before and once again it has proved to be the best pizza place in NYC. Beet salad was really good and fresh. We knew we had to get their capricciosa and our server Andjela recommended a pizza that me and my friend enjoyed a lot- Algerino. It exceeded our expectations. We finished up with an amazing tiramisu. Easily one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had in general. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends.

Hi! My name is Thiago and I’m 7 years old 😄 This pizzeria is really really good! The food was light and tasty, and I could eat all my pizza 🍕 It was simple but very yummy, and I liked it a lot. The restaurant was nice and clean, and everyone was kind. Our service lady Jovana was very nice to me 😊 She smiled, talked kindly, and made us feel happy. I had a great time and I want to come back again!
